Forum - Rules of Engagement

When you sign up as a user on the Messageboard, you will be presented with a list of terms and "do's and don'ts" which are standard fare on most Messageboard hosting sites. Most people don't tend to read a lot of this stuff because its fairly boring so it would be appreciated if you would at least take the time to read the following basic rules that contributors should stick to when posting messages on the LTDF:
Please refrain from using inflammatory language of any kind as it will not be welcomed on the Forum and any posts deemed to contain such language will be removed anyway. So it will be a waste of your time; by all means disagree with one another, this is healthy debate after all, but please be constructive in the way you do so.
Whilst free speech is to be encouraged, this is not a site for "working class heroes", therefore constant posting of personal 'agendas' and attacks on individuals and slanging matches are not encouraged. What is more, they are fairly pointless and achieve nothing. Again, please try to keep contributions constructive.
Please refrain from using profanity of any kind, there are plenty of words in the Oxford English Dictionary that you can use instead! Whilst its tempting to use profanity to express a mood or depth of feeling, it demeans the integrity of the board and will only serve to discourage the future potential support for this site from Trade organisations.
Thats about it for now, the main thing to remember if this site is to work, is that we need to observe
these rules otherwise it will simply undermine our integrity and end in the probable closure of
the forum. This site can potentially be an extremely useful resource for London cabbies,
both new and old, so please enjoy using the site and BE LUCKY!
